Welcome to Oceancartz. By accessing our website, purchasing products, or renting vehicles from us, you agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms apply to all customers, website visitors, and users of our services.

1. Products, Rentals, and Service Representation

Oceancartz supplies new, used, and refurbished golf carts together with rental services throughout the United Arab Emirates. Every vehicle is inspected before delivery to ensure it meets our quality standards. We are committed to delivering the exact vehicle, specifications, features, and accessories described on our website or quotation. Rental vehicles are also inspected prior to delivery and are considered accepted by the Customer upon delivery unless any issue is reported immediately.

2. Pricing, VAT, Availability, and Rental Bookings

All prices displayed on our website include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated. Product availability is updated regularly, and only available vehicles may be purchased or reserved. Rental bookings are confirmed only after full payment has been received unless otherwise agreed in writing. Availability of rental vehicles is subject to confirmation at the time of booking.

3. Payment Methods

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Discover, Diners Club, Apple Pay, Google Pay, direct bank transfers, and Cash on Delivery where applicable. Rental payments must be completed before delivery or collection unless otherwise agreed. Customers should include their invoice number with all bank transfers or payment references.

4. Delivery, Collection, and Rental Period

Orders and rental bookings are processed seven days a week. Product deliveries within the UAE are generally completed within 3 to 6 business days and are provided free of charge unless otherwise stated. Rental periods begin at the agreed delivery date and time and end at the agreed collection date and time stated on the invoice. Any extension must receive prior written approval from Oceancartz. Unauthorized extensions may result in additional rental charges based on our prevailing rates.

5. Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds

Product orders may be cancelled before dispatch without penalty. Once dispatched, the Return and Refund Policy shall apply. Rental bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled rental commencement are non-refundable and any advance payment received shall be forfeited. Product returns may be requested within 7 days of delivery provided the product remains unused and in its original condition. Refunds are processed following inspection in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.

6. Customer Responsibilities

The Customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring safe access to the delivery or collection location. Customers must operate all vehicles safely, responsibly, and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations within the United Arab Emirates. Only persons aged 18 years or older, or otherwise legally permitted, may operate rented golf carts. The Customer remains responsible for the actions of all drivers, passengers, employees, contractors, guests, or any other individual using the vehicle during the rental period.

7. Damage, Loss, and Customer Liability

For rental vehicles, the Customer assumes full responsibility for the golf cart from the moment it is delivered until it is collected by Oceancartz. The Customer is solely responsible for any damage, collision, accident, rollover, theft, fire, vandalism, water damage, misuse, negligence, missing accessories, missing parts, or any other loss occurring during the rental period, regardless of who caused the damage while the vehicle was under the Customer's care or control.

The Customer agrees to reimburse Oceancartz for the full cost of repairs, replacement parts, labour, transportation, recovery, cleaning, storage, inspection, replacement of lost equipment, and any other reasonable costs resulting from such damage or loss. Where damage renders the golf cart unavailable for future rentals, Oceancartz reserves the right to recover reasonable compensation for the resulting loss of rental income. Normal wear and tear resulting from proper use is excluded from this provision.

No repairs, alterations, modifications, repainting, dismantling, or replacement of parts may be carried out by the Customer or any third party without the prior written consent of Oceancartz. Any unauthorized repair or modification shall be rectified by Oceancartz at the Customer's expense.

8. Safe Operation and Equipment Care

Golf carts must only be operated on suitable surfaces and within their intended operating environment. Off-road driving, racing, reckless operation, overloading beyond the manufacturer's recommended passenger or weight capacity, towing unauthorized loads, or operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. Any damage arising from improper use shall remain the sole responsibility of the Customer.

For rentals extending beyond one day, the Customer is responsible for correctly charging the battery using the charger supplied by Oceancartz. Chargers and electrical components must be stored in a clean, dry, and secure environment. Damage resulting from improper charging, negligence, water exposure, or misuse will be charged to the Customer.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oceancartz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to business interruption, loss of profits, property damage, or personal injury arising from the purchase, delivery, rental, or use of any vehicle or equipment. The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Oceancartz, its directors, employees, and affiliates against any claims, liabilities, damages, legal costs, or expenses arising from the Customer's possession, operation, or use of any rented vehicle.

10. Privacy and Security

Customer information is processed securely using encrypted systems. Payment card details are never stored on our servers. Please review our Privacy Policy for further information regarding the collection and use of personal data.
